AIRSCAN 10-37 16"x20" framed canvas giclée

United States Air Force maintenance crewman prepare a Senior Jewel advanced strike and intelligence, surveillance, & reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft for an operational night mission.  This hypothetical international aviation magazine cover depicts an October 2037 operational sortie.  The original 18” x 24” colored pencil drawing was completed in 2018 on black Colourfix paper.  The text for the magazine date and content were added for reproduction.  Senior Jewel is hypothetical U.S. Department of Defense program involving the main aviation vehicle, multiple reconnaissance sensors, mini-uninhabited combat aerial vehicles (UCAV’s), and air-to-ground weapons.  The main vehicle is modeled after the YF-23, but is 30% larger and features a two-person cockpit, a single diamond delta wing, more conventional vertical stabilizers, and tandem internal weapons bays.  This is the second of at least 3 pictures featuring Senior Jewel.
